She's been watchin' these games so long
singing the school fight song.
She knows every guy in those battles of gridiron
and waits for the next Border War game
no matter if it's in the cold, wind, snow, or rain.
There's been some intensity risin'
at Rams over the horizon
and they're gonna beat 'em for all the world to see!

It's true...I had a VERY good weekend, thanks to my favorite football team. We had such an iffy first half of the season, that I was beginning to worry. But now we're sitting on a 3 game winning streak, crowned with that GLORIOUS Border War victory. It's pretty good to be a Cowboy right about now...=) Thanks for a wonderful reminder, Mister Pacholek...I loved this!!

Let the record show that I wrote one for Arwen's team BEFORE I wrote one for my Rutgers Scarlet Knights... but then, they're 7-0 and Number 14 in the nation (their highest ranking EVER since the Associated Press started ranking college football teams in 1936) without me giving them a song, so maybe I should stay away, so Coach Greg Schiano (subject of "The Schiano Man" when they were losing) can finish the job.
