R.I.P. Alan Colmes, you were a good man in a bad place (Fox News Channel), no doubt you're in a better place now. This was my 2006 take on Alan's sad lot on "Hannity & Colmes", crafted out of one of the greatest songs of all time. Thank you Larry Weiss for gifting the world with "Rhinestone Cowboy" and thank you Glen Campbell for putting RC and so many other songs in our hearts and heads forever. Peace and love to you and yours.

Both sides think that I'm wrong
I've heard every crack about dirty liberals and sellouts
And you know how FOX plays the game
How Lefties don't get much air but we get all the blame

even if Hannity & Colmes was a little before my time of regularly watching Fox News, I was still surprised to hear that he had passed! R.I.P.! and yes, let's thank Glen Campbell for recording this OS, and several others! dude had an awesome voice, the likes of which probably won't be heard today! 5s

Amen, Jonathan. I just found a youtube video of Glen Campbell doing MacArthur Park in 2002 with the South Dakota Symphony Orchestra (they're really, really good!). His vocals are just heart-breaking...and he totally shreds on guitar. Wow!
