I've been stalkin' these sheets so long
and that...tie-dyed sarong
I know every nook
in these windblown streets of Miami
where gusty's the name of the game
and linen gets blown away - time again and again
Sure there are loads of jobs less risky
when cy-clones are gettin' frisky
but when they descend, everyone
needs li'l ole me!

to retrieve everybody's towels

people who just don't know how
(I always get those towels back...somehow)

Well I really don't mind the rain
there is less-chance
of wet towels strayin'
and my towel-supervisor keeps payin'
me by the retrieval
If it's dry, I need my lasso
coz those towels get tangled
in the telephone lines (yes they do)
Sure there are jobs more enterprisin'
where I might not get as heightsick
but when those dudes blow, noone's more
important than me
