It must be a breeze to be a writer for Godspell after reading both of your parodies, all you have to do is come up with one line or one stanza and repeat it over and over again with a chorus, and some background insturments. Was this a Tony winner? Because it sure wasn't with writing! This was a good mockery of a song that I would have never come in contact with before, nor would I want to.

Thanks for the comments, Matty Most of the other lyrics in the show are way more substantial, and mostly paraphrases of various psalms...I prefer jesus Christ Superstar, anyway.
"All For The Best" is a particularly great tune...look for the Youtube video clip from the 1972 movie---the Jesus-clown figure with the too-tall 'fro is Victor Garber of 'Alias' and 'Eli Stone', and note the very chilling-in-our-9/11-world ending shot.

I'm definitely more a fan of Agriparodies than of anything originally "Godspell." And this gets 5s just for whetting my baseball appetite. I just wish I had the time (and $) to be a season attender at both major and all 3 minor league franchises within an hour's drive. :-)
