The Lyrics

I have tried countless times to correct the auto-fill function on my computer that keeps putting "I Would Do Anything When Drunk" as the title of my parodies, like happened for the third time yesterday. If this fix doesn't work, my sledgehammer is gonna get a workout tomorrow, may the computer R.I.P
I am sleeping, hear me snore
I slumber too loud to ignore
I've been known to wake the dead, my wife contends
Now my walls lack much decor
Stuff rattles right down to the floor
And I've lost the will to put them back again

Oh, yes she did cry
When her eardrums burst,she winced
And ev-en the mice
Are packin' up their tents
And I thought that, they could take anything
I was wrong (wrong)
My snores convinced 'em all (convinced 'em all)
They are leavin'!

My wife stuffed her ears with cotton
Didn't work like she had thought and
She had had enough, and hatched an evil scheme
Well I knew she had come unhinged
And was no novice to revenge
Though I think my crucifiction's too extreme

(A huge crowd gathers round, drawn by my thunderous snores after I'd fallen asleep on the cross)

Oh, yes my demise
She was watchin' with a grin
And ev-en the flies
Don't dare come near this din
And I thought that, they could stand anything
I was wrong
My snores convinced 'em all
They're all leavin'!

I was fadin' on the cross
When I met my future boss
He had heard my snorin' roar and formed a plan
I'd kill vermin embryos
When to my snores they're exposed
And now I'm known as Mister Orkin Man

Oh, yes I am prized
There's no need to fumigate
I just spend the night
And vermin leave the state
If you want me, I'll evict anything
I am loud (loud)
I use no chemicals (no chemicals)
I'm just snorin'

Fade Out

I am zzzzzzzzzzz
I am zzzzzzzzzzz
I am zzzzzzzzzzz
I am zzzzzzzzzzz

I stand by my comment yesterday that "crucifiction" was a GREAT pun on "crucifixion" and "fiction"! Sure, three more Fives.

Depending on which word-processor program you have, it's probably under "Format = Auto-Format = Options" (or Customize), or maybe under "Tools = Auto-Correct = Options (or Customize)". Uncheck the "Auto-complete" box, and as many others as you want. I turned the whole d#$% thing off, as it's easier to type a few more letters myself than to remove its many sometimes hilarious "auto-completions".

As it was yesterday, my favorite part is still, "Well I knew she had come unhinged And was no novice to revenge Though I think my crucifiction's too extreme". Still a funny sleeper, still 555

I can REALLY relate tho this parody Dee. Not that I snore, but Mrs. Red Ant did. Not anymore though, I offed her (just kidding!). She has this machine now that keeps her from snoring, and more importantly it helps with her apnea. It is eery though since it looks like something out of an ICU. Anyway, I'll take a pass on listening to this OS - I'm sure the pacing is great, and it is funny. 5s.

brilliant brilliant stuff, Dee, and congrats for taking my compatriot Helen down the rung or two that's required - so many great lines, but I was blown away immediately by the subs in line 2: "I slumber too loud to ignore" - you must have been whooping when that one appeared thru the mist! - 555
