The Lyrics

...Here there was the horned dragoon, all ten legs of it... If you can 'buy' that creature found as an AGIP trademark, then 'buying' something that looks *like* it in some ways should be an easy matter. Hence, the title.
The last village has burned, the road's gone to cinders
But I can travel without sound or reason,
Smash the kingdom up, reduce the place all to flinders,
Taste of smoke and flame is my will for season.

"I've breathed fire, and I've caused pain,
Sending smoking flames for weeks without an end,
Lonely byres, no cattle my rumbling maw to tend,
Can't find jewels for my coat to mend."

Hatched from an egg, the cold and dark,
Realms of smoke and bright blue sulfur.
The road is hard, and it is long, no other way
Cursed hide, cursed tongue, born without a mother,
Where I come there will be hell to pay.

"I've breathed fire, and I've caused pain,
Sending smoking flames for weeks without an end,
Lonely byres, no cattle my rumbling maw to tend,
Can't find jewels for my coat to mend."

Started in the south and moving north, graves followed in my wake,
The hot winds blow and the embers glow when I show without a sound,
Land's end is coming, and so are the swords, but my flame has yet to break.
My fire's low and growing lower, nothing left upon the ground.

"I've breathed fire, and I've caused pain,
Sending smoking flames for weeks without an end,
Lonely byres, no cattle my rumbling maw to tend,
Can't find jewels for my coat to mend - and this is the end."
The real horned dragoon - the creature behind 'the old tale' of that name - isn't nearly this bad. However, if one should encounter a heavily cursed lizard about nine hundred years older than he should be... A lizard made such that it needs to be cut apart and rotting in a compost heap before he's done... Then.... THEN, this makes sense.
