Parody Song Title:

"J. F. Kerryville"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Nibblin' on cheesesteak
Watchin' the sun bake
As my supporters continue to toil
Strummin' my six-string
On my front porch swing
Smell of McAuliffe beginnin' to boil

Chorus:
Wastin' away again in J. F. Kerryville
Searching for my next issue to vault.
Some people claim it's my flip-flop to blame
But I know it's never my fault.

I don't know the reason
I campaign here all season
Nothin' to show but this botox snafu
Every month, an injection
Helps my complextion
How it got here I haven't a clue

Chorus:
Wastin' away again in J. F. Kerryville
Searching for my next issue to vault.
Some people claim it's my flip-flop to blame
Now I think, well it could be his fault.

I'm a real flip-flop
No matter; it won't stop
Like Dukakis, I'll lose and head home
But if there's booze in the blender
Then soon ever ender
I'll still have Teddy to help me hang on.

Wastin' away again in J. F. Kerryville
Searching for my next issue to vault.
Some people claim it's my flip-flop to blame
But I know, it's Ralph Nader's fault.
Yes and some people claim that my flip-flops to blame
And I know it's Ralph Nader's fault

Very good parody with a lot of very funny lines. The flip flop lines do characterize Kerry - did he support the Iraq war?, did he talk with foreign leaders?, etc. I gave you a 5-5-4 because you retained a few lines from the original that I thought should have been changed.

I thought you did a good job on this

Excellent parody. Great imagination.

GIVE A CLICK HERE - I THINK THIS ONE'S A SLEEPER.

I'm also surprised that there were no political comments from the left and the right on this one. Kerry tunes usually inspire debate.

Great parody, 5's!

Not to get political here, just a little humorous.....years ago, in Boston, I was walking along the sidewalks of Boston's Brighton neighborhood when who in the world but Senator John F. Kerry comes walking along with an entourage of supporters. I walked up to him and extended my hand, which he took in a cordial grasp and we shook hands and exchanged brief pleasantries.

It was kind of like what I would imagine it would be like to shake hands with...Herman Munster...

Come November 3, you'll be left in the "lurch." Kerry is Herman? Well, Bush will be squirmin'.
