The Lyrics

We all do, but not in this way.
Verse 1: I saw him standin’ there in his soldier boy chic
His body smellin’ like polyethylene
Since I was all alone
I asked to take him home
And I knew it wouldn’t take long
‘Til he was with me (Yeah me!)
And I could tell that it was so on
Yeah he was with me (Yeah me!)
Screamin’

Chorus: I love G.I. Joe!
Blinded by the shine of his dog tags, baby
I love G.I. Joe!
So come and take a lie in a trench with me!
Ow!

Verse 2: He smiled when I asked if he needs a safe word
That don’t matter, he said, cuz nothin’ will hurt
I ripped off all my clothes
And I yelled, “let’s go Joe!”
And then next his vest was off
I was like wee! (Woo wee!)
Next his pants were off
Where is his wee? (What wee?)
Screamin’

Chorus: I love G.I. Joe!
There’s an empty spot in boxers baby
I love G.I. Joe!
So there’s other stuff he can do with me
Ow!

Bridge: When I’m feeling all alone
I chant, “Bring our boys home!”
Soldier, come on home
And lie down with me (Yeah me!)
And I’ll be gettin’ on and singin’ my favorite song
Get with me!
Singin’

Chorus: I love G.I. Joe!
You can purchase joy at toy store, baby
I love G.I. Joe!
So hop into your car and come with me

Chorus: I love G.I. Joe!
Lookin’ super fine in his camo, baby
I love G.I. Joe!
So come and take the time and play with me

Chorus: I love G.I. Joe!
Standin’ right in front of his rifle, baby
I love G.I. Joe!
When you’re off on leave come play with me

Chorus: I love G.I. Joe!
Thinkin’ all the time ‘bout your Action, baby
I love G.I. Joe!
So can and do it in a Tonka Truck with me

Chorus: I love G.I. Joe!
Is it such a crime to love plastic, baby?
I love G.I. Joe!
So take your blow-up dolls and back off me!

so the rumors about Barbie & G.I. Joe WERE true! poor Ken... 5's

Jon, what is sicker is the fact that not only did Ruth Handler derive Barbie from German prostitute doll Bild Lilli, but that Barbie and Ken were her kids' names! Brother and sister! Barbie's full fake name is Barbara Millicent Roberts.

Is this sung from the POV of a human in love with an action figure or from Barbie's POV and she's cheating on Ken. Either way she's gonna be outta luck but at least Joe is much more rugged and manly.

It's a human. Yeah, messed up, right?!

"I love rock and roll" would be one of the most parodied originals on the site if the verses were easier to work with, because the chorus is darn near perfect for what we do here on Amiright. Me I have an "I love Scooby Doo" somewhere in the archives, but I gave up on the original after that. Oh well, for what it matters I feel the same way about Skid Row's "Youth gone wild", maybe you'd like follow this one up with "Ken gone wild"?

No resell value on that as the dolls are covered with white stuff.

Best use of the word polyethylene in a song ever!

(Artistry) Wait, who's perspective is this meant to be from? The opening comment makes it sound like a human trying to bonk a toy, but the parody makes it seem like a Toy Story porno. Still, at least it's not about the cartoon like I thought it would be, cause then I would be even more lost. Decent work, but its a little confusing.

I agree with the POV confusion, but overall not a bad spoof. The OS is a classic and you did a good job with the parody.
