The Lyrics

It's late at night, the lights are low
Been on the flight five hours or so
I think it's done some damage to my spine.
We've engineered such great machines
but how come we're squashed like sardines
And we can't all breathe in at the same time.

This creep's sitting next to me
Talks to me, complains to me
When will he shut up and let it go

I'm "sleeping" on a jet plane
I swear I'm walking back again.
If I still feel my toes

He's talking 'bout his kids again
I check my watch- it's 3am.
He surely knows that I'm not listening
I hope that morning won't be long
I put that useless blanket on
I think I'd feel much better on the wing

He's itchy, complains to me
tells me 'bout this DVT
On a plane there's nowhere you can go.

I'm "sleeping" on a jet plane
I try and bend my back again
and now blood can flow

Now snores are coming from the creep
I'll teach this jerk to take my sleep.
I take out my life jacket from my seat.
I put it on, I'm working fast.
Above my head, pull down the mask.
I nudge the guy, my vengeance is complete

I'm screaming on a jet plane, I'm never flying back again
He's screaming on a jet plane, he's never doing that again...
(repeat to fade)

Awesome song. I felt there's not much anyone could do with the limited lyrics of the song, but I was proven wrong by this one! Very great ending too. All 5's

Good job Steve! You have spoken for all the weary traveller in this world. I must remember not to talk too much to my co-passengers. The thought that I'll never see them again, makes we wanna TALK
