The Lyrics

Ah, the announcement I've been hoping for since late 2009. MTV's "Jersey Shore" is ending after this season...'bout friggin' time! Original Song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z8Vfp48laS8
Oh man, thank goodness
A miracle’s come
It’s finally over
It was making us so dumb

You’re watching eight douches
All bake in the sun
Get drunk and then go run
Down the beach for fun

So put them in show business
They’ve been on for three years
Think they had a good run
But now I can cheer

It’s better than Christmas (Shore is over)
Suffered for so long (they’re unwanted)
The tan and the ripped ones (Shore is over)
Are finally gone! (no-o-ow)

No more Situation (Shore is over)
He wasn’t that bright (they’re unwanted)
You’ll see him at K-Mart (Shore is over)
His shift starts tonight (no-o-ow)

Good thing they have their fitness
It will be a tough year
Some ditches need digging
Won’t be engineers

Snooki’s making children (It’s not over)
Lord, what have you done!? (That’s not awesome!)
Just thought it was over (Please be over)
But a new one just begun (no-o-o!)

Grab your vuvuzela! (Shore is over)
Climb to the rooftop (what I wanted!)
Let everyone hear that (Shore is over)
We’re done with this schlop! (no-o-ow)

They’re leaving their beach house
And starting a new gig
Now they’ll do your laundry
They live off of tips

Shore is over
They’re not wanted
Shore is over
Now...

The closest thing I have to a Jersey Shore parody is "Douche" my parody of Santana's "Smooth" and I haven't really read any good parodies making fun of all of this Jersey Shore nonsense so this was well needed and well-deserved. Thank goodness it's over for sure. So long Snooki time for your job back at the Wonka Factory.

Oh Abbott, thank you thank you! Thank you for posting this parody. Not only because it's spot on, and is well deserving of a 555, but because you have also given me the courage to finish a parody of my own about our UK, very-much-bargain-basement version of this programme, called The Only Way Is Essex (or TOWIE for short.) You have blazed a trail, led the way, etc. and done it with style. :) Good points, well made.

I never watched the show, but I like your parody. "Shore" must have been a bore.

I don't watch TV but this shore makes me glad I haven't seen what I haven't seen. "The tanned and the ripped ones" was the best of many good lines.

I'm shore glad to read this sentiment. When I was laid up with my broken ankle I sat (lay) astounded one day at the inexplicable crap I had switched onto. It was like a train wreck, i couldn't look away. But I soon did :)

I don't have cable, but I've heard of this show. When I was in the hospital I recall watching 14 hours of Pawn Stars one day. Nice to think that the stars of Jersey Shore will find other jobs, that isn't easy these days.
