The Lyrics

I wrote this parody last year, 12/9/04, in response to the November 2004 election and the Christmas season. I found this parody in one of my notebooks late last night. Crappy New Year (2005), indeed!
("Happy Christmas, Jenna!" "Happy Christmas, Mary!")

So this is Christmas,
And what have we done?
Election's now over,
And it looks like Bushie won.
And so this is Christmas.
We'd better have fun.
We're stuck with four more years
Of George and Barb's son.

A very scary Christmas,
And four Crappy New Years!
Did Bush pull a fast one
By playing our fears?

And so this is Christmas. (War continues)
The weak serve the strong. ('Cause you want it)
The rich eat the poor ones. (War continues)
This all is so wrong. (Now-ow-ow-ow!)
And so, Crappy Christmas (War continues)
For blacks and most whites. ('Cause you want it)
The Blue and the Red States (War continues)
Continue their fights. (Now-ow-ow-ow!)

A very scary Christmas,
And four Crappy New Years!
Did Bush pull a fast one
By playing our fears?

And so this is Christmas, (War continues)
And look what we've done: ('Cause you want it)
A "mandate" for rightists (War continues)
While the left wing they shun. (Now-ow-ow-ow!)
And so this is Christmas. (War continues)
We'd better have fun. ('Cause you want it)
The world is astonished: (War continues)
"Now look what they've done! (Now-ow-ow-ow!)

A very scary Christmas, (Sorry night!)
And four Crappy New Years! (Hopeless night!)
Did Bush pull a fast one
By playing our fears?

War continues,
'Cause you want it!
War continues
Now-ow-ow-ow!

Crappy Christmas!
Crappy Christmas!

Ironic: Bush is so devoted to the oil industry, but he gets coal in his Christmas stocking. One more thing: There will be bastards rating this song poorly. Don't let them get you down.

Ironic: Boxer is so hateful of the oil industry that she gets switches in her Christmas stocking. One more thing: the bastards who rate this song high are the poor raters. Let your hatred flow, lady of the Sith.

Ironic: Keloh wouldn't know what that meant if it bit him. Why shouldn't Barbara Boxer, and every other thinking person in this country, be hateful of an industry that robs us blind every damn day?
Eh Cac Pmeh A Ko lli - December 03, 2005 - Report this comment
Ironic: Hemp wouldn't know what that meant if it bit him. Of course Barbara Boxer, and every other brainless bitch in this country, would be full of envy for an industry that supplies our fuel for less profit than the IRS makes from gas taxes every damn day, wouldn't she?
