The Lyrics

Over the years I've posted about 8 songs about a fateful encounter on a dating website I had with a woman named Becca who had dazzling blue eyes. This wil be my final parody on the subject, my swan song, if you will (and even if you wont)
Little ditty about Becc and Ryland
Two boomer age kids seeking love
In the 'net Land
Becca gotta be the chat room queen
Ryland's a dilletante .. in Becca's scene

Texting in a comment box
On "agingboomersmeet"
Ryland done cracked Becc up
He made a joke about ED
Becca says, "Hey there, Ryland"
Lets go get us a nice Marriot suite
Swallow down your baby blue pill
And dive 'neath some sheets

Oh yeah, life goes on
Long after the thrill of first love is gone
Oh yeah, life goes on
Now that the joy of a new love is found

Becca holds back,
Collects her thoughts for the kill shot
Sends a new text
Doing her best Red Queen
Well now, Ryland though your texts are quite witty
I must say, "You aint man enough for me"
And Ryland groans ..

Oh hell, life goes on
Long after the pain of this new text is gone
Oh yeah, life goes on
Long after the thrill of this new love is gone

Oh he got rocked, he got trolled
Let her baby blue eyes enslave his soul
Hold on to first love as long as you can
Hard times bring it down
May not find it again

Oh yeah, life goes on
Long after the thrill of a new love is gone
Oh yeah, life goes on
Long after the ache of a lost love is gone

Little ditty about a dude named Ryland
Boomer age kid chasing ghosts
In the 'net land

"Hard times bring it down, may not find it again". Isn't finding those "hard times" what those baby blue pills are for? I had a similar "inspiration" for quite a few years. I think she's afraid of my driving, so she hasn't called for a while. I drive a lot better without her running commentary, anyway. I've got a couple more ideas floating around in my head, so maybe you will have Patrick McWilliams to kick around for a while.

Didnt actually intend that, but, hey, I'll take credit for it. I actually did make a joke about dropping a Levitra, after she got into some intimate talk ... "Thats interesting .. So, should I drop the Levitra now, or wait for 2 hours" And her response was positive, and I thought I was in like Flynn. And suddenly, Poof, she ghosted me; she disappeared into the cyber ether
