"Dung Is In The Air"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

dung is in the air,
with every sight and every sound
dung is in the air,
a million cows are all around,
and I don't know if I'll be gagging,
don't know if I will hurl
but there is one thing I am believing
I'm glad it don't smell like my girl

dung is in the air,
smell is coming from the farm
dung is in the air,
all the piles so steamy warm
and I don't know if I'm just dreaming,
don't know if it's too safe,
but that smell just leaves my nose reeling
and that bovine made cow smell's not great

dung is in the air
dung is in the air

dung is in the air,
of the silo in the field
dung is in the air
now the cow guts are revealed
and I don't know if it's truly toxic,
don't know if it's too tru
but I wish i was quickly hypoxic,
then that smell would just never get through

dung is in the air
dung is in the air

dung is in the air,
of the silo in the field
dung is in the air
now the cow guts are revealed
and I don't know if it's truly toxic,
don't know if it's too tru
but I wish i was quickly hypoxic,
then that smell would just never get through

Thinking Oh! Here is someone else to whom the odor of manure is the best harbinger of Spring, more sure a sign that the robin or the groundhog, a portent of plowing to come. For we of the farming peoples it isl truly the Sweet Smell of Success - the greater the stink, the larger the herd. Imagine my disappointment to find that you, like so many, find naught but offense and derision in this much-anticipated seasonal activity. I will not even mention the thanks we owe those gentle beasts as they give their all for our Quarter Pounders and morning milk. Someday when all the cows are gone, you will remember.

*recites a line from a Tool song* "Let the rabbits wear glasses! Save our brothers!" 5,5,5 for the smell of victory (and feces)

Great to see another Aussie song get parodied. As a fan of 70s disco and 70s Aussie rock, I like the original and am also a John Paul Young fan especially his 1975 hit "Yesterday's Hero", but I also dig your cow dung pisstake, I reckon every Aussie farmer out there should sing your parody hehehe. Great stuff mate all 5s.
