The Lyrics

DKTOS? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jd-UduxGtIE
They said that I should try BASIC
And just ignore Prolog and SMALL
Avoid Python, Pascal, and Lisp now
And Java, C, and COBOL

I'm not too old
Or so I'm told --
It's child's play

These data types are a hindrance
And subroutines make me annoyed
These variables are a nuisance
I think that I'm lost in the Void

A treeview node?
Compiled code?
Jagged arrays?

This programming's so aggravating
It's just like a tangle of twine
I don't know just what I'm creating
I think it just said "I'm alive!"

I run the code
PCs explode
This bytes my A

I didn't even know that Judas Priest had any songs in the 70's... I probably understood about 3 words in your parody because I'm not computer savvy at all.

Your 'puter parodies are always recursive loop-y! Great codin' daVinci!

As a programmer by profession, I took a byte out of this binary masterpiece! Suppose to only recognize one's and zeros, but will enter fives anyway...

(Artistry) Once again, Rex, you pull a deep cut out that gives a fresh look at the artist. Here for your parody, it works...but it's simply just not a laugh grabber for me.

(Artistry) I recognise a few of the terms, but other than that this was an over-the-head parody. Kinda short, but that's not your fault really. Interesting idea, 555.

There's a code called "Lisp"? lol. I tried a long time ago with Basic - anyway, I've seen Dave do enough scripting to know I don't want to do it - don't have the typing speed or accuracy anyway.

Hmmm, well I got it (as Jack mentioned I like scripting) and can relate, won't say I got any big laughs out of it, but it was a solid write.
