"Kerry's On A Wayward Run"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

to the "war hero" john kerry..yeah right
kerry's on a wayward run,
there's a peacnik, yes there's one,
lay your bull in 'nam to rest,
don't you lie no more

once he served in 'nam became a converter
left the battle, just another deserter
hanoi hannah was his fortune
didn't want to die
took some ragtags and he flew cross the nation
praising peace, and praying for some's damnation,
caught you lying, now stop dreaming,
hear the soldier's voices say

kerry's on a wayward run,
there's a peacnik, yes there's one,
lay your bull in 'nam to rest,
don't you lie no more

masquerading as a war tested hero
purple heart he claims is worth next to zero
now he claims to have this virtue
but he knows he lies
democratic, yes he yells loud and hearty
seems to fit him, it's a bullfeathered party
now he wants to lead the lefties
but the country has to say.....

kerry's on a wayward run,
there's a peacnik, yes there's one,
lay your bull in 'nam to rest,
don't you lie no more

kerry one,
don't you think we remember
kerry of
your last peacenik september
now your lies no longer tempt me
surely heaven waits for you

kerry's on a wayward run,
there's a peacnik, yes there's one,
lay your bull in 'nam to rest,
don't you lie no more

don't you lie.....
don't you lie no mo'

Malcolm - I agree with most of your parody but I do not agree with this line at all:

purple heart he claims is worth next to zero

Anyone who has gotten a purple heart deserves better respect than calling it a zero. Although Kerry may be misguided as to his experience in Vietnam, the puiple heart is real and it was given for injuries sustained by hostile forces that mean to end ones life. I have the utmost respect for the institution of the purple heart. I take exception that you treat it with such insignificance.

Other than that the parody was excellent. I'm voting a 5,4,5. That line took the funny out of the parody and I have judged it accordingly.

Guy, his purple heart was like his medal of honour.. gotten with an uncofirmed source. ..I heard the squad nominated each other for the hearts, ad the medals.. all uncofirmed.. truth is, he basically served half, then deserted, now wants to be a war hero.. sorry bud.. roll with the grunts and take the highest praise I can give a man,.. desert them, and face my wrath

A fight between Guy and Malcolm, yikes, it's like the Dallas Cowboys against the Oakland Raiders... let's see, heads, Guy, tails, Malcolm... I guess that's appropriate, since Guy usually uses his head and Malcolm's... Plenty of men were once war heroes and then threw away their heroism. Oliver North, for example. But for a right-winger, there are plenty of reasons to criticize Kerry (most of which are the reasons liberals like me like him). You want to criticize his war record, you're one up on me, 'cause Bush has no war record to criticize. But first Bush trashes John McCain, whose combat boots he was not fit to shine. Now John Kerry. Actually, now that I think of it, if his name was George Walker, rather than George Walker Bush (yes, I know the Walkers were also filthy rich), cleaning a john would be all he would be fit for in the Navy. It would be the first time he ever properly used a "head."
