The Lyrics

In honor of the Samuel L. Jackson movie coming out in 2006
I board my ride
I put my seat back upright and I stow my tray
On my feet
I feel a slithering and I turn to clay
Snakes on a plane
Everyone sees snakes on a plane

They are long
You think they are slimy but they're really not
All they do
Is scare the flight attendants and stay uncaught
Snakes on a plane
All they are is snakes on a plane, ohh

Now, don't freak out
They can sense your fear and then they'll bite your face
Then slip away
To hide in the overhead compartment space
Snakes on a plane
Everywhere are snakes on a plane
You're sure there are snakes on a plane?

Snakes on a plane
Everywhere are snakes on a plane
Who let all these snakes on a plane?
A plane

This reads very well, and conveys the emotion of fear...

This sounds like a bizarre movie you mention; I could write a parody called "snakes in my dreams"--but I won't. You did this well.

That guy is a comic genius! This is one of those parodies that are so fun to sing- my co-workers were cracking up as I crooned it to them.

Looks like this is the first "Snakes On a Plane" parody on the site. The second is coming up shortly.

Wow... Awesome job, man! The lyrics were very clever, but the pacing wasn't pitch-perfect. You brought a lot of humor into your parody, but it could have used a little more "I want the [censored] snakes off of the [censored] plane!" and a Sam Jackson solo where he keeps using his now-legendary (and very profane) catchphrase, as a parody of the violin solo. But rest assured, you certainly did justice to the [censored] snakes on the [censored] plane! 555

A nice complementary to my "Here Come the Snakes" tune.
