Previous commentator sounds like he took advice in your "Stay Nude" parody. Wonderful parody, another improvement on the original lyrics. I like your observation on the older generation who walked 10 miles uphill to and from school both ways. And it was always 10 below zero except when it was 100 degrees in the building because there were no air conditioners. Will keep watching for your stuff.

thanks for pointing this one out, CLM. This really was superb, with excellent pacing and very clever rhyming in the verses. i'm hopeful that pointing strong works from the past will generate a little more traffic and energy on the site. Right now "moribund" almost overstates the amount of interest and interaction This piece originally had 750+ views, but if posted now it would probably end up well under 100, and that's a shame. No wonder the author stopped postng, although there could be other reasons.

In actuality he just stopped in mid-2012, after posting over 400 parodies in about a year. The site was going great guns at the time, so it was a bit of a mystery. Then he came back after two and a half years and posted maybe 35 more. You could tell that he was put off by the overall negativity that had overcome the site, even though none of it was directed at him
