Guess I'm not the only one doing auto racing recap songs then... Haven't seen anyone else do WRC parody songs on the site yet, and I thought maybe I'd throw this in as a humorous reaction to Estonian rally driver Ott Tänak being way out of his luck over the past few rallies, culminating in a rather disappointing retirement in Australia last November 2018. This is basically what he thinks about his dreams for a driver's championship, or so I think.
Why are there so many wins for that Frenchman?
As if luck is on his side
Six years a champion, for Ogier has happened
His rivals just cower and hide
We tried to lead yet my good friend would floor it
I'll prove him wrong wait and see
Someday they'll crown me, the World Rally Champion
Toyota will view me with glee

Should have just played it safe, and hope I would lead it
