There's a wizard who knows even Bilbo's grow old
And he's hiding from the eye of Sauron
When they torture Golem he says Baggins' the one
So with swords they come looking to kill him

Bilbo's bored with the Shire so he says he'll retire
Take a trip now that he's on vacation
Gandalf gives him the look 'cause he still has the ring
He tells Frodo to hide for safekeeping

But the halflings forget that the wizard knows best
So the ranger comes saving their bacon
The ringwraiths turn and flee but give chase on their steeds
Now by water they've all been forsaken

Cause in Rivendell he has been taken
And a new quest is on for that ring of Sauron
In the morning they'll head for disaster

Who will steal the thunder?
Who will make the blunder?

But an avalanche on the mountain
Has got them all pinned
So that makes them head for caves instead

Well then the orcs in the caves nearby
No they weren't much fun
The fiery Balrog made them all run

Yeah, it made them all run

The Balrog's coming and it's skin glows like fired bellows
The wizard's giving him no passage
Entangled now the two start falling into darkness
The party cries for the descending mage

Well now that ring is quite a load
They're fighting orcs and fighting trolls
And while the ents are having fun
They take revenge on Saruman
So now his fires have all turned cold
And then a hobbit joined the guard
Now when the new king was unmasked
He went and made a spirit's call
And in that battle took their toll

And they're fighting 'gainst the eye of Sauron

There's a hobbit who's weak still he gets to the peak
While still avoiding the eye of Sauron
And when he gets there he rests will he pass the test?
But that Golem comes biting his finger

And they're killing that big eye of Sauron
