The Lyrics
This parody will explain what I have been doing during my two-year absence from AMIRIGHT.COM. My wife and I have been very busy doing research and compiling a website dedicated to the healing of persons with wounds to their hearts and souls. This is a serious parody and is dedicated to my daughter's untimely death at the young age of 23. When you vote on the "how funny" portion please substitute the idea of "how funny" with "how helpful". It is not the parody that is being judged on helpfulness but the plug (and I will not say shameless plug) for the website. I'd like feedback on the website for those of you who choose to peruse it. My daughter succumbed to suicide that was a direct result of a medical intern who over-administrated psychotropic medication to her. The parody is just a prelude to the entire story. You will find the URL to the website dedicated to her and to all who are wounded by grief on the bottom of this page and the entire story will be told. If you are interested please link to the site and if you know anyone that this may help please forward the URL to those parties. We have received promotional assistance from the Salem Broadcasting Network on affiliate radio station 6:30 AM KSLR in San Antonio, TX on Take a Stand with Adam McManus on July 2, 2007 with a 30 minute on air live interview about the site. The station was gracious enough to air it for free. Disclaimer - Even though the truthful events depicted in the website seem to be negative toward medical and legal professionals, the complete story could not be told without these negative facts. Hey Guy, very good site you have there. I've spent the better part of the past hour looking at it. I'm glad you and your wife were able to put it together and find some peace after Tonya's suicide and the legal mess that ensued afterward. I did give a 4 for "helpfulness": while very good, the text colors were hard to read in places (might just be me, but red on orange is hard on the eyes) and I thought the navigation was a bit awkward. "Satan, Bite The Dust" was an interesting piece (sounded like the Moody Blues meets Bonanza meets Charlie Daniels...). The coffeehouse idea is something I hope you can eventually make into reality. Good to see pics of your family as well.
"medical intern who over-administrated psychotropic medication to her".... There is the REAL tragedy...Lot of stories about those drugs doing little, and sometimes making it worse. I rate this parody itself 555+ for being a masterpiece of ballad in the tradition of classic Greek tragedy. Lot of parodies here hit serious themes instead of haha.... May you and your wife find peace. I know that your daughter has.... btw, she's not a "loser". The doctors are the losers... they'll have to live with themselves.

TT - I have a parody called PSALM Thirty-seven. It tells how these types will be dealt with. And I'm sorry if my point missed your home plate but "Suicide's for losers" is followed by "Some scripters say they're choosers,". I've read a lot of dark stuff on the subject and these "scripters" or writers if you can call them that always place the blame on the one that commits the act. In fact I tape recorded a conversation with my daughter's "doctor" amd when I asked him why she may have done this he just coldly stated that it was probably an act of anger and that they just want to leave their skeletons in your closet. The"doctor" is the real loser here. God Bless!

My first reaction to this was stunned silence, and I am truly sorry for your loss. This definitely had an effect on me, although I'm really not sure how to put it into words.
Jeff - No one ever knows what to say. Just knowing that you all know this about me is good enough. My wife and I wrote that website to help us heal and to help others in grief. The most you can do for us is to share the site with anyone who is grieving. Google suicide - 99% of what you find is dark. We wanted to put it in a softer light instad of dread and dispair.
