The Lyrics

Boy, writing this made me hungry. Mooooooo!
Oh, here I stand, four legs and stomachs
Outstanding in my field, I know I will yield
I know it's really homicide, when I must go inside
I'm just beef on the hoof, when I ask you to eat rice-you say

It's always so cruel to be kine
In the wrong pasture
Cruel to be kine
On the menu in time
Cruel to be kine
Somebody's dinner
Burger!
That's why it's so cruel to be kine

Well, I'm just a beast, an underdone steak
I know you gotta eat, but why am I the meat?
I stuff you so full, it's all bull
To have you make me ground round again and again
When I have to eat grain you say

It's always so cruel to be kine
In the wrong pasture
Cruel to be kine
On the menu in time
Cruel to be kine
Somebody's dinner
Burger!
That's why it's so cruel to be kine

This parody is finely marbleized, center-cut, and well-done, with asparagus tips and blue cheese. Some red bliss potatoes would top it off nicely.

Lots of good lines to ruminate on. Nice job of tossing in the old "outstanding in the field" joke.
