This was a great idea, but shoot, this was woefully inconsistant. Pacing was off in most of the verses. Was this supposed to be a funny parody or a serious one? You went completely sincere in the last 2 stanzas it seems, which was rather jarring. I like how you used the instrumental break--is that a variation on the dialogue, or the actual transcript? (for those who do not know, that sound in the original song is drummer Nick Mason's solo flight transmission!)
