The Lyrics

Although I am not a brony, I felt some attention needed to be brought regarding the equestria girls spin-off. Although fiction, there has not been any public discussion of magic from another dimension. Humans don't need to have magic (or mutate their genome) to make friends (e.g. lyra and bon-bon). I have decided to make a parody set list of The Wall from Pink Floyd (1st side only). It is taken from the perspective of a male eqg background character, Picket Gate, who has been a witness (either directly or indirectly with his friendship clique, brought up later) of the mayhem from magic. He has become fed up with it and the Sunset Seven getting away with it, as well as others. This list of songs provides some criticism that would usually be brought up in normal circles. It does somewhat focus on negative aspects to magic, which I think the eqg franchise needs to move towards, to discourage normalizing this. Btw, don't try and confuse me with Pinkie Floyd. I know there is a brony that uses that handle. I would not be against any animated YouTube video or live performance at a convention, that may be created from this on my behalf, so long as I get credited. I will leave that to other creative people with more expertise.
(Theme of equestria girls played to trumpet, setting in a graveyard)
(Transition to gathering of people entering assembly while intro is playing)
(Leader of S.A.E.M.* comes up on stage, Picket Gate)

So ya, thought ya, might like to see a Rainbooms show
To see all their mutated life presence, and multi-colored glow
I’ve got some overcast clouds in your sunshine
That’s not the tale, that you know so well
If you think you need magic, to make great friends
To some I would say that such power offends

(Outro to the song)
No wings!!
No hair growing to you feet!!
No horse ears!!
If you want that change!!
It’s equestria to blame!!

(Chants of SAEMR, SAEMR, SAEMR!!!)
*S.A.E.M. = Students Against Equestrian Magic (A grassroots movement that eventually becomes a new social cause for revolution across other schools e.g. Crystal Prep). Some spinoffs to that group include T.A.E.M. (Teachers), and P.A.E.M. (Parents), all with the same initiative. Next Track: The New Curse.

I am the resident Pink Floyd Maniac on this site (having written or co-written 3 complete Wall album parodies), so I am approaching your work with great expectation. I know ZILCH about the "equestria" fan base, so I won't comment on that directly. Some of the best parody writing comes from esoteric subject matter, so I am looking forward to what you will post next. Maybe you will pull out a full album down the road. Good luck.

Ok. I have set up an account on FimFiction.net as a means of getting some feedback on this project that is to be completed. At some point in the future, I would hope to expand on the context of these songs to make a chapter story. I will accept any brainstorming ideas as a possible collaboration. Btw, I have already completed 1/2 of side 2 of the Wall parody.
