Your description fits in well with how I feel listening to Pink Floyd

Don't know the rock opera, but still enjoyed the song.
Not too sure what you're on about in this parody. It's a bit confusing to a casual reader who isn't fallowing the rock opera you wrote (and doesn't really stand out as a stand alone song). Not bad but I think your newer stuff is better.
I'm not sure what you missed here, Matthias, it is a song about Study Hall time, and one doesn't need to know the context of my "rock opera" to follow it (just like the OS).
(Artistry) Remember - the first rule of study hall is that there's no studying in study hall. You brought back some memories with this one.
(Artistry) How unfortunate that I wasn't around yet to get to see the rock opera as a whole as it progressed. This was pretty good though. It makes me wanna continue and back track to see the rest of the opera!
I actually wrote the bulk of it throughout the 1980s, hence some of the technical flaws throughout. It has some recurring characters, wacky situations that I observed in my time as a High School Student, but not really a plot to speak of. Sorry buddy, I didn't really get into this one as much as some of your other Pink Floyd parodies. . .I, like Matty, was confused at first--until study hall was mentioned. . .I've actually never been in one of those interestingly. . .but I have an understanding of what they are and can see where you were going, overall its okay--just not a favorite in my opinion. . .
(Artistry) Ah, study hall, one of those conventions of education that I wasn't privy to, though whether that's to blame on my school being in Australia or my school being Christian is unknown to me. Perhaps because of my unfamiliarity with the concept of study hall I couldn't really get into this parody. The fact that it's part of a series doesn't really help either. Um...yeah.
