The Lyrics

This is my first time here and this parody was done after the men's French Open tennis final in June.
French Open Champion

I've choked matches
Time after time
It was like a life sentence
But committed no crime
And bad matches
There have been a few
The Davis Cup in Malaga
Couldn't show my face
But I've come through
And the Coria fans cried on and on and on and on

French Open champion - my friend
And I kept on fighting till the end
French Open champion
French Open champion
No time for Coria
'Cause I'm the claycourt champion of the world

I've taken my chance
And enjoyed the curtain call
The title bought me fame and fortune
And an Argentine recall
But it's been no bed of roses,
Coria fans egos bruised
I consider it a challenge to stay in the Champions race
And I ain't gonna lose
And the Coria fans cried on and on and on and on

French Open champion - my friend
And I kept on fighting till the end
French Open champion
French Open champion
No time for Coria
'Cause I'm the claycourt champion of the world

French Open champion - my friend
And I kept on fighting till the end
French Open champion
French Open champion
No time for Coria
'Cause I'm the claycourt champion of the world

French Open champion
French Open champion
No time for Coria
'Cause I'm the claycourt champion of the world

Some pacing faults. I can't say I love it, but it's not terrible.

I agree with McEnroe (though I find it ironic if someone didn't pick that name for the title), there are some pacing issues. The overall song, though, is good. It's also an idea I haven't really seen done much. Or to death. Plus, you didn't pick Bohemian Rhapsody like everyone else who does Queen, so that's a plus. As another new person at this site, I'd like to say it's a very good start. Just keep at it and you'll get better with the pacing and stuff to. If it helps you can always count the syllables for each line and try to make it near the same.
