Parody Song Title:

"Killer, Mean"

Parody Written by:

Alvin Rhodes

The Lyrics

he kept a dangerous weapon...in a secret cabinet
"for life, to take", he said..."now's time", he said, grabbin' it
a filthy conspiracy...to snuff out poor kennedy
a heinous crime, assassination
he felt inclined

a window casement, where he sits
his gun aimed at the president
extraordinarily precise

he's a killer, mean...fired at the limousine
frightful sight....wicked murder scene
bullet speeds and blows his mind
flyin' rinds

life was ended....cold as ice
insensible...this sacrifice...why'd he die ?

to avoid apprehension....he fled the building, headed west
cop's intervention ?....he shot the pest...lest he might arrest
the force fanned out to find him
and soon snuck up behind him
they took him into custody...to see what they could find

"untrue, i'm a patsy", he tells us...(naturally)
plots, he tries to sell us
the whole thing just stinks on ice

he's a killer, mean...fired at the limousine
frightful sight....wicked murder scene
bullet speeds and blows his mind
flyin' rinds

drop of a hat...ruby's pistol spat
oswald fell...and that was that
he expired and was out of action
consequently, the trail went stale
there'll absolutely be no trial
vile !
a burning issue !

he's a killer, mean...fired at the limousine
frightful sight....wicked murder scene
bullet speeds and blows his mind
flyin' rinds

life was ended....cold as ice
insensible...this sacrifice
why'd he die ?
why the lies ?

Very cool and historicly accurate - only the Warren Commission may know the truth and they sealed the findings for 100 years.

I was a lad in 7TH grade history class when I learned of the terrible news. I tried to make sense of it all from all the televised reports and news media articles that went on for months to years after the incident. Only in May of 2004 did I get a very clear picture of what they were all reporting on when I was on a business trip to Dallas and my hotel was three blocks from the site. I paid ten dollars to ride the elevator to the top floor of the Texas book repository and that is when I made my mind up that Oswald did indeed have an impossible shot from his vantage point. He may have been there but he did not cause the president's demise IMO. And the grasy knoll in no way could have concealed anyone from firing there without anyone witnessing it. The knoll is a tiny piece of real estate with no cover whatsoever. The only logical point the killing shots could have came from is the train tressle that the street run beneath about 100 yards sttraight ahead on that street. The tressle is still there now and was there in 1963. Fine parody Alvin - If I'm not mistaken this is not the first parody you have done on the Kennedy assassination. Absolutely brilliant write.

Great job telling the story to this very difficult OS. I've just submitted a Killer Queen for tomorrow with the same title. Different subject matter (mine's about Charles Manson - you'd probably like it)
