The Lyrics

Wow, I received an email from a Nigerian prince saying he had won the lottery, but needed help getting the money out of the country. He said all he needed was 10% to start the ball rolling and he would give me half. Boy, did I think my ship had come in …
Is this a real site?
Is this a guaranty?
Bought in, a grand ride,
Not a scrape with legality
Oh, what a prize, hook up with these guys, woo- ee!

I have a score, boy, just send an entry fee
Because I’m easy, dumb, see the dough, send reply, little slow,
Anyway, this cash flows from this prince, a fat cat, to me, to me

Mama, you could lend a hand,
I have won but need some bread, full of vigor, buy new threads,
Mama, I could spend a ton,
I’m overdrawn, the fee was due today,
Mama, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, lotsa green, I ache to buy,
Cut me some slack it is no crime to borrow,
Not a con, not a con, and my spending really matters

Cool fate, I climb from slum,
Friends quiver for my wine, I’ll eat steak, it’s so sublime,
Good bye, ev’rybody, I bought some blow,
Gotta weave a little high and chase my youth,
Mama, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, I just want to fly,
I’m numb with bliss, endeavor with prince, big haul.

Soft Guitar Solo

I buy a larger TV set-o, minivan,
Buy a pooch, buy a brooch, money due for mad tango,
Fishing pole, teeth whitening, tummy tuck is tightening me,

Bill to pay – oh, pill a day – oh, silver tray – oh, swill away –oh, trill a “Deo”, buy Van Gogh,
So apropos, oh, oh, oh, oh, I buy some more toys, nobody loves me,
He’s immature boy, insecure spending spree
Spending so rife, make believe bourgeoisie.

Then the scum took my dough, how was I to know?
Buzzkiller! No, no funds just debt to show,
Debt to show! Buzzkiller! How did you get so slow?
Get so slow! Buzzkiller! You should be set for woe.
Set for woe; lotto set to grow,
Set to grow: new fee gets you dough, gets you dough, ah
No, no, no, no, no, no, no,

Panacea, panacea, panacea, send some dough,
And here’s the rub, there’s no revel, they just lied to me, to me, to me

So you think you can con me and split while I cry,
So you think you can shove me, deceive me, so sly,
Oh, maybe, cash abyss, screw me, baby,
Just caught in the doubt, and naught from the tout, I fear,

Solo

Nothing – I’ve been shattered, broke as all can be,
Now I’m all in tatters,
Money freely scatters from me,

Anyway, this scam blows . . .

Timmy1K - This was a lotto fun to read. Wanna buy some beach front at Bull Head City, Az? I'll give you a good price on it. I just need 10% up front to get the ball rolling and you'll triple your investment within 2 months. It's a red hot deal worth 555 times its face value.

You did a fine job on this parody. Most pleasing to read and something that almost everyone can relate to because I don't know wanyone who has not been targeted for a scam over email. Fine write.

A worthy addition to the extensive Nigenre. My votes are currently frozen, but if you send me just $10,000, I can bribe TThe gov and send you back $555,000.

I loved tihs one too. 555! The lottery is unpredictable, no one knows who wins and who doesn't, but those lucky few who eventually do win are very lucky indeed.

Excellent, Timmy - I've done one or two to this OS, and ditto on this subject but never thought of mixing the two and it's such a perfect title sub.. Some super word substitutions, too.
Timmy1000 - September 02, 2009 - Report this comment
