The Lyrics

Tonight I'm gonna have myself a real good time
I feel alive and the world is waiting there for me, yeah
I've got myself high on ecstasy
So don't stop me now
Don't stop me
'Cause I'm having a good time, having a good time

Imma shooting folks; watch 'em as they scream
At the mad guy defying the laws of this city
I'll go race my car right straight through the crowds
They're all gonna die, duh
I'm gonna go go go
There's no stopping me

I'm burning things with fire, yeah!
Two thousand degrees
(And that's in Celsius, not in Fahrenheit)
The dark side's better than the light
I'm gonna make the Top Ten Wanted List when I'm through

Don't stop me now
I'm having such a good time
I'm severing balls
Don't stop me now
They'll try to make me do time
In jails with high walls
Don't stop me now ('Cause I'm having a good time)
Don't stop me now (Yes I'm having a good time)
I don't wanna stop at all

Hacked the traffic control mainframe, set all cars
On a collison course;
There was this satellite
It was orbiting Earth
But it'll land soon, and it's all because of me
And crash land on NASA, make 'em
oh oh oh oh oh explode!

I'm setting things on fire, yeah!
Two thousand degrees
(And that's in Celsius, not in Fahrenheit)
The dark side's better than the light
I'm gonna make the Top Ten Wanted List when I'm through

Don't stop me, don't stop me, don't stop me
Hey hey hey!
Don't shoot me, I'll get you
Ooh ooh ooh (You bet it)
Don't stop me, don't stop me
Have a good time good time
Don't stop me don't stop me
Ooh ooh all right!

(instrumental)

Ohh, I'm burning things with fire, yeah!
Two thousand degrees
(And that's in Celsius, not in Fahrenheit)
The dark side's better than the light
I'm gonna make the Top Ten Wanted List when I'm through

Burning down shops, though I don't quite know what for
Yeah, there goes the mall;
Don't tell the cops
If you wanna live a while more
Don't give 'em a call
Don't stop me now ('Cause I'm having a good time)
Don't stop me now (Yes I'm having a good time)
I don't wanna stop at all

La la la la laaaa
La la la la
La la laa laa laa laaa
La la laa la la la la la laaa hey!!....

This parody was hugely disappointing to me. I love when people parody some of Queen's lesser-known hits [outside of the realm of the usual We Will Rock You, We Are The Champions, Bohemian Rhapsody parodies], and to read this and find the the pacing was off and extremely hard to follow, and that it wasn't funny at all, and almost psycopathic [see: "Imma shooting folks; watch 'em as they scream"] was, as I said, a huge disappointment. 212.

Hmm. Sorry about that. I went through it a few times with the music, and edited bits that were off to make them fit. The final pacing was completely in time for me. But this was one of those songs that has a fairly inconsistent rhythm even between similar lines, so it depends on where you put the stress on each sentence; on which syllable you start the line on. The psychopathic angle was because the song struck me as very easily tweaked into that of some psycho going around killing people. I could imagine some crazy guy going around with guns saying 'Don't stop me now!' because he was having a good time...
