The Lyrics

Originally submitted as "August Bohemian Rhapsody" I apologize if the rhymes' WAY off. I'm tone deaf. Anyway, this is a parody of the famous song Bohemian Rhapsody played to the events in the movie "August Rush". So for those with an intention to watch, back off now. For those who already did watch that movie or won't watch a cheesefest like that anyway, go ahead and read. SPOILER WARNING: Watch at your own risk. And another apology for the duplicate file; I’m a sucker for perfection and apparently, the first time I submitted it, there were a lot of typos (a tendency on my part) and a line that was rather inappropriate as it mentioned “part of the act, but not all of it” which, owing to the nature of the movie which the song is being parodied, may not be so pleasant or appropriate. So I used Irish slang instead, since the some of the characters in the movie were Irish.
AUDIENCE
This isn't real life
Just someone's fantasy
One feaked up night out
Bore a child that's a prodigy

Open your eyes
Look up to the skies and see

LOUIS
I'm just a front man
She’s just that in to me

MARSHALL
Bro, it's easy come, easy go
Little feak, there she goes

LOUIS
Any way the notes play
Lyla's all that matters to me... to me...

MR. NOVACEK
Lyla, my time has come
Sent your baby far away
Made you think he pass'd away
Lyla! Life had just been kind.
And there you go to throw it all away

LOUIS
Lyla, oooh,

MR. NOVACEK
Didn't mean to make you cry

LOUIS
Should you come back I will give you my number

MARSHALL/MR. NOVACEK
Just move on, please move on

LOUIS
Will she even bother/My baby's all that matters

JEFFRIES
Too late, can't find your folks

AUGUST
Wind chimes clang above my bed
I still hear them in my head.

LOUIS/LYLA
Goodbye San Fransisco/Dear old Daddy
I've got to go
Gotta find that girl/boy who took my heart away...

MR. NOVACEK
Lyla, wooo

LOUIS
Anywhere those notes play

MR. NOVACEK
I'm about to die
I really wish you never met that boy at all!

[Arthur plays]

WIZARD
I see a maestro within this wisp of a little boy

ARTHUR
Scaramouch, Scaramouch

AUGUST
I'll play for that fandango

CHURCH CHOIR
City lights and traffic
Very overwhelming
See!

JEFFRIES
Evan Taylor, Evan Taylor, Evan Taylor

WIZARD
August Rush

AUGUST
I'm just an orphan, no body loves me

ARTHUR
He's just some weirdo missing his family

WIZARD
Spare him his heart, he's some child prodigy

AUGUST
Think they will come someday
Will you let me play

WIZARD
Bad offer, no! I will not let you play

AUGUST
Let me play!

WIZARD
Bad offer, no! I will not let you play

AUGUST
Let me play!

WIZARD
You play when I say

AUGUST
Let me play

WIZARD
You play when I say

AUGUST
Let me play

WIZARD
You play when I say

AUGUST
Ohhhhhhhhh

WIZARD
No no no no no no no no

HOPE
Mama Mia, Mama Mia

JULLIARD
Mama Mia let him play

LOUIS
Brought back the band, had a showdown with a child

WIZARD
Money, Money

AUGUST
Daddy?

MARSHALL
So you think you can find her within this night?

LYLA
Please tell me you found him

AUGUST
Leave my dreams to die?
Oh Wizard, Can't do this to me Wizard
Just gotta get back, just gotta get back to that concert

[August goes to his concert, just as his parents hold hands]

Music's all that matters
As mom and dad could see

LYLA
Evan's all that matters

LOUIS
Lyla's all that matters...

AUGUST, LOUIS, LYLA
...to me

[The parents look at each other, as if in love, but in total disbelief, at the same time]

LYLA/ LOUIS
Why'd this take so damn long!

(just for kicks, I'll add this last line)

WIZARD
Word

ARTHUR
Please don't say that

Interesting and creative... inject more humor and you'll bowl me over more than a (meaty) fistful of Oxycontins!

Damn, I went through all that trouble to get it reposted, and still I have the same mistake since last time. It's supposed to be a "Louis/Lyla" in that scene where Louis apparently sings "Will she even bother/My baby's all that matters". Also, notice that there's no "magnifico..." part in the lines before the trial.
