The Lyrics

The names have been changed to protect the innocent...
Unconcealed, unconcealed
Se them stroll, see them kneel
And gasp as they are turning!
Look at those buns, in the sun
See them move, see them run
Is it hot here or me yearning?

They breed desire
When they un-attire
All men' shouting acclaim
Karen, Bambi, Gena and Jane
They're the girls of the Playboy Mansion
They're the girls of the Playboy Mansion

In the day, in the day
They're a cure for the gay
Though at NOW they're called a freak show
In the night, in the night
In the grotto dim light
They might swim up beside you

They breed desire
When they un-attire
All men' shouting acclaim
Kirsty, Laura, Sue and Elaine
They're the girls of the Playboy Mansion
They're the girls of the Playboy Mansion

(And this is the part where guitarist Richie Lustmore indulges in some fingerwork)

They breed desire
When they un-attire
All men' shouting acclaim
Who cares if they don't have a brain
They're the girls of the Playboy Mansion
They're the girls of the Playboy Mansion

They all can lift your attention span
They're the girls of the Playboy Mansion
They're the girls of the Playboy Mansion

Just look at how they glisten
I'm a man, a man, I will give a hand
For the girls of the Playboy Mansion

They're hot as fire
All us men transpire
They're the girls at the Mansion
The girls of the Playboy Mansion

Some are bright, some are quiet
Some black and some white
The girls of the Playboy Mansion

I didn't realize until I read "Richie Lustmore" that you were talking about Richie Blackmore and, that I knew the OS. Great job with it, Peter. What Alvin said. 555

A little repetitive in the choruses, but 555 worthy all the same. Great idea and execution, and I loved "un-attire".

Thanks guys! Rick C: It's the first (and best) track on the first album that Rainbow did, which as far as I know was the first Richie Blackmore did after that Deep Purple had split up. And the singer is Ronnie James Dio, later to become a star in his own right. IMHO a true classic. :-)

for a non-native English speaker, Peter "They breed desire When they un-attire" was sublime - that should be on the Playboy logo - 555
