The Lyrics

Another one of the Epic 40 gains the High Score!
[Frank]
Balls that zoomed, I
Threw and they’d fly
It is… Loads of fun

Just like in “Tommy” I’m crowned
Cause I… Can’t be stopped
I’m the local arcade’s Chosen One

You’ll be knocked out
By the way I roll
Check out my hook
How it hovers!

I’m not that good at Math
So scorekeepers stay
And help me count up all these high numbers

It’s just my Skee-Ball Pastime (Yup!)
Balls in every hole
It’s a mania! (Hah! Hah!)

Tickets fill up my truck
Thanks to all those balls dunked
I’ve got enough for that Scooby
While at most games I’m dismal
At DDR got a dent skull
But at this game I’ll wipe out all you n00bies

(Manager of ESPN)
I’m glad we’ve caught you at play
Our shows have decayed
And we need someone who is big and burly

(Assistant)
Right!

(Manager)
Golf is no longer on par
So we need a new star!
And your sport’s intense, though quite nerdy

(Frank)
Most of your shows are crap
Way off my map
And babies that’s so tragic
If you want me to bite
Just flash my name in lights
I’ll gain you some ecstatic fanatics

It’s just my Skee-Ball Pastime (Yeah!)
An unusual
Game that I play, yah!
(Hah! Hah!)

Just one more game I’ll be fine (Fine!)
More addicting than wine (Wine!)
I can teach all you gamers… A lesson
I’ve been picking up fans
And groupies with big cans
Then get tokens as pay for my pension

It’s just my Skee-Ball Pastime (Yeah!)
Balls in my control
I’ll beat all of ya!
(Hah! Hah!)

Roll It! Roll!

It’s just my Skee-Ball Pastime
(Skee-Ball Pastime!)
Not like Whack-A-Mole
Much, much zanier!

So… My balls I will grab
And I will take a stab
I will deliver you great enter……………………………………tainment
AND MAYBE MY FAME!!!
Will give props to this game
And gain folks much applause
Each time they toss 'em

Great job Matty. Now that summer is looming I think I know someone who is thinking about Cedar Point...

Thanks TJC: Wack-A-Mole is my 2nd favorite arcade game I had to include it somewhere. -Alvin: The hardest part to parodying this song is coming up with the title switch, I got lucky here. Thanks. -Invisible Boy: Boy am I ever! I'm planning on going this weekend actually, and then I'm going to spend my entire Fall and Winter actually at Disney World doing an Internship. I guess I'm just an Amusment Park kinda guy.

Scored 555 points, I cheated though by climbing on that thing and drop the ball into the middle.

(ABC4S) It takes some balls to play full contact skee-ball. Good sequel to "Whack a Mole". Pretty whacky youtube video as well. Most entertaining on many levels. Good job here, Matt.

You didn't include the spoken intro, so I have to give you 1s - just kidding. I liked "your sport’s intense, though quite nerdy". Well done, Matt.

I enjoyed this Chuck E. Cheese Symphony (subtle self-promo).

(ABC) generation gap here, matt because what the hell are you talking about here? - some pinball game I presume - must be big to entitle you to "groupies with big cans" - I lol'd at that - 555

(ABC4-S) You're lucky you put up a picture of Skee-ball in action, otherwise I'd have no idea what you're on about! Unfortunately I have never heard anything by Rocky Horror Picture Show...so there's not much else I can say - except I also used Max Power's tactic for winning the game.
Invisible Boy - May 28, 2008 - Report this comment
Fun to read again Matty. I've played much Skee-ball at Hampton Beach NH. If you can win, like , 2 million tickets you can get a curvey-straw...

ABC- What can I say? I love Rocky Horror, and I love Skee-ball. But don't those fishnet stockings become a hindrance when you shoot the ball? Very well done, Matty!

(ABC) I didn't think I was going to be a big fan of this parody by the title, but you made the topic friggin hilarious, one of my favorite by you this year, easily. I loved the DDR skull reference, and working in ESPN's dismal programming was absolutely hilarious, you took a swipe at golf, which gets auto nods from me, and both your pacing and grammar were a slam dunk here, absolutely fantastic Matthias, I loved every line of it!
