The Lyrics

Donald J

Wake up, Donald, I think I got somethin' to say to you
It's late December and we really should prepare to move
The law suits keep you amused, but the country's being screwed
Oh, Donald, you couldn't have lied any more
You lost the key swing state votes
But still tweet out all your hopes
You lost to Joe and that what really hurts
On CNN when they're in your face really shows your rage
But that won't bother your base, in their eyes, you're everything
You laughed at the Russia hoax, mistrust you didn't need to coax
Oh, Donald, you couldn't have lied any more
You beat the impeachment probe
The Democrats wouldn't leave you alone
You dominate the news, that's a pain they can do without
All you needed was to make America great again
But you buddied up to Putin, and shared love letters with Kim Jong UN
All you did was trash the dems, and always scorning, making fun of them
Oh, Donald, they couldn't be fried any more
You survived the Mueller probe
'Cause William Barr said to make it so
You flaunt the law, wouldn't convict you if they tried
I suppose you could collect yourself restart enrollment at Trump U
Or steal Don juniors cue and make a living just playin' cool
Or make yourself a brand new plan, and start another scam
Oh, Donald, I hope you're ready to leave this place
You've been a first class tool you see
Your base is also blind to your deeds
You lost the vote. so you got to go anyway
Donald, we gotta prepare to leave this place
Mar-a-Lago is our new home in just a few days

Ooh, ooh, ooh
Waiting on pins and needles for December 14.

Great parody. Every 1 you get from the Trumpies is a sign that your parody is good, don't worry.

This one was difficult to finish. Is was fortuitous that I posted it the same day that the GSA granted access to Joe Biden. As for the president, there is old saying, "Time wounds all heels". Something that my band director had posted in his office. (in the early 1970's)

Lili is right, and Donald doesn't wear it well.

Lili is a lying KommieKultistKunt, MP is a lying hypocritical racist commie traitor SOS, and all you un-American fascist fraudster fools proclaiming victory through election theft are priming your necks for the slaughter in the upcoming Civil War 2.0 that you treasonous totalitarian terrorist thugtwats have started.

You know, the best part of this war is it's mostly not the rural-dwelling reds who are going to be slaughtering the blues: it's the blues who're going to be slaughtering each other, once their power goes out and the food and water stop being delivered to their cities.
Michael Pacholek - November 24, 2020 - Report this comment
Wanna hear something hilarious? I'm totally safe here in my city, where power comes from the sockets in the wall, water comes from the tap, and food comes from the store.

Super. Traces the original lyrics in meter and rhyming spectacularly well. I liked this a lot and voted accordingly.

At some point the penny will drop, but let's face it, Donald and co haven't been the smartest bunch, so it may take them just a little longer to notice (let alone accept) reality. Super parody, too :-)

I can imagine this was a tough one to write. The sentences are long and flowing. You matched the original well, and picked a good original for the theme. Water flows and sockets produce electricity, at least until they don't. As the folks who are eagerly awaiting the next Civil War are quick to point out, the red state deplorables have most of the guns and military training. A further advantage--many Democrat voters are already dead, and have been for several elections. By the way, we all know what Rod Stewart thought about his relationship with Maggie. Has anyone heard Maggie's side of the story?
