Parody Song Title:

"We Got Him"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Watch out, Osama. Now we can concentrate on you. What a great day for the world!
The tyrant in a muddy hole,
Cowering like a low-down mutt.
The summit of power now gone
We caught his dirty butt!

We got him! Yeah, baby we got him!
Yes, terror's losing. Freedom's callin'
Saddam is fallen.

His weapons were all based on fear,
Torturing and killing ruled.
Black-hearted despot he was,
But now he's just a fool.

We got him! Yeah, baby we got him!
Yes, terror's losing. Freedom's callin'
Saddam is fallen.

Next UBL. Nice parody. I have a feeling the site is going to see a lot of this in the next few days. I got mine in this morning, but there are lots more to do as the news develops on this. Saddam is cannon fodder for our keyboards.

Someone should write parodies about how the Dems are trying to downplay this development...sad, really. Good work on the parody, welcome back.

Yeah - I was swithcing channels this morning to see just how it was being reported. It was like night and day between CBS and Fox. I was not on CBS ten seconds when I heard Dan Rather getting extremely negative about it. The rest of the world is cheering and Rather is sounding like something bad happened to someone good. Will that guy ever just report the news and not put his opinions into it? .

Yeah, now we can concentrate on Osama -- the guy who actually did it! Two years and nothing! Somebody do Bon Jovi: "Can't find him, dead or alive!"

Hey folks! Thanks for the kind comments and high scores! I have been super-busy the last several months - a lot fewer techs and means a lot more work! I was checking my email early Sunday morning and just happened to check the Yahoo news on the way. When I saw the headline I literally did a movie-style double take!! I woke my wife up yelling "WE GOT HIM!!!" I suddenly started singing it to the old "Venus" tune and that was that! I am proud to announce that, in 1979-1980, I was a MEMBER of the mighty 4th Infantry Division (Go Iron Horse!). Now I've worked in the Pentagon, Turkey and even the Supreme Headquarters, Allied Powers, Europe (SHAPE) in very prestigious assignments, but suddenly I am most proud of that Ivy patch!!! God Bless the "Steadfast and Loyal" 4th!

Yes, eveyone please remember that, not eveyone will be home for Christmas. Send some warm thoughts and deeds to a military family near you!
