Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

as the Queen will no doubt soon be singing after eviction
Phillip called, someone a rude word,
we said "we don't bear foeigners no malice."
So, looked through stained glass windows, my regal backside,
And I said it's not a big surprise,
Another news team come looking for scandal and lies.

I don't know why we're needed, but they want us to go,
our replacement's the Beckhams they're the new royals you know,
but for plenty more years we will live in Buckingham Palace.
Charles he may fear, he'll never get a chance,
it don't seem that appealing, given current circumstance,
Now I've got in the news just for owning Buckingham Palace

Scandal here forever, we're left in the dark,
Cause our initial thought's "it's a lark" . . .
in the palace.
Now we're just getting bored and just waiting to die,
Tony Blair is coming, just to tell lies,
and his dishonesty means we never see eye to eye

I don't know why we're needed, but they want us to go,
our replacement's the Beckhams they're the new royals you know,
but for plenty more years we will live in Buckingham Palace.
Charles he may fear, he'll never get a chance,
it don't seem that appealing, given current circumstance,
Now I've got in the news just for owning Buckingham Palace

Then Tony called back, and said we're expelled,
he said "here's removals as well - get out the palace"
he said "the monarchys gone, but I'm still here.
And you know I will rule for a thousand years.........."
And British history disappeared.......

Now I've got in the news just for owning Buckingham Palace

Jim A, came across this way late (exactly 9 years to the day after you posted it!). I suspected something was up when I read the reference to Tony Blair! The pacing is a bit off, but the concept is good, I particularly liked the reference to the Beckhams being the new royalty.
