The Lyrics

My worst nightmare in parody form....
I was riding to the 48th floor
You were yakkin' like the consummate bore
I was thinking to myself, "what a dolt!"
When the elevator ground to a halt

No electricityno fresh air or light
Here I am, stuck in a lift-shaft with you

Yes, I'm stuck in a lift-shaft with you
And I'm wond'ring if you'll turn green and spew
Coz you shunned me and you ignored my pleas
Not to chow down on that pungent Dutch cheese

Clown, keep away from mejoker, take a hike
Here I am, stuck in a lift-shaft with you

Now you thought you'd entertain me
With your Broadway show tunes repertoire
And you break wind like a sailor
Sharing your malodorous
Bree-ee-ee-ee-eeze
Bree-ee-ee-ee-eeze

(*3 hours later*)

Tryin' to stay together, keep calm
While I anxiously punch the alarm
Now you're shouting at a guy I can't see
You're both planning to do bad things to me

Freak, keep away from meloony, you ain't right
Here I am, stuck in a lift-shaft with you

And you're takin' all your clothes off
Stubbin' cigarettes out on your hand
You're convinced that snakes are crawlin'
Wrapped around your neck and your
Knee-ee-ee-ee-ees
Knee-ee-ee-ee-ees

And the firemen have still not arrived
Only one of us will get out alive
I'm not scared because I got me some mace
And you're asking for the lot in your face

Down I'll be takin' thee
I will scratch and bite
What a jamstuck in a lift-shaft with you
Yes I'mstuck in a lift-shaft with you
And I'vegot a black belt in kung fu
And I'mpacking a tazer or two
So Iwould back off if I were you
Yes I'mstuck in a lift shaft with you

What a coincidence, I just finished submitting a parody about being stuck in a lift (elevator) with a fart dispensing slob. I like yours better. 5's

off all his behavioural quirks (including asking for the mace to be sprayed INTO his face) his malodourous breeze had me cringing the most

such were your powers of description, I felt like I was there Kristof - 555

Do "dolt" and "halt" rhyme or is that a deliberate misrhyme following the flow of TOS? No matter, all 5s the same ( like the 'packin' a tazer or two' line ).

I've seen your last few parodies but just didn't know TOS.

Liked it lots, lots, lots (aka 555s)! The first verse is especially well worded, and you still had good ideas at the end, instead of repeating things over and over like in the OS (quite an old one, wow!). This is a gem!

Funny and I guess that would be creepy if I were in that situation. Nice parody. 5's I was gonna do a 555th floor thing, but I see someone else did.

Willie: I'll check yours out!

Stu: You WERE there, Stu: you were THAT guy! ;-)

Paul: *wheeze* thanks!

Alvin: You deserve a hug for the nice things you say!

Phil: ;-)

Adam: Ladies lingerie. Next floor, orbital sanders....

Red Ant: Where I'm from, they very much do rhyme. Halt is pronounced "holt" by Aussies and Brits...I guess in the US it's more like "hawlt"...Thanks for reading my stuff, dude

Jango: That's my style, buddy. I rarely repeat lines, even when the OS calls for it. I find it more interesting to add rather than replicate. Thanks

Dominic: Cheers, amigo!
