'
Not in row "N”, O-67.
Chance games I fancy,
Scratch games I buy.
Six cards are costin',
Some minor billing.
Most stores have card sales,
I might as well go try.
'
I-19
A game of chance with numbers (game of chance)
Please be the next to fall.
It plays me along,
As it hides unfound.
'
I-19,
Worth one Ben Franklin.
This "I" row member, some green will roll.
Next B-9 be fallin',
It's no reviver,
I scratch like crazy,
But still not showin' gold.
'
I-19,
What is the chance this letter?
It seems to mock and stall,
It plays me along,
Come and slide on down.
'
(Instrumental Interlude)
'
Play bingo gold,
A game of numberin',
Scratched all night and won not a thing. (Play it again)
'
The thrill grows cold,
Resigned still rubbin''em.
So tonight no booty do bring

So near so cold,
Can't line the columns in,
So tonight I've plundered my jing.
'
I took the chance and bet her,
No spree was clocked at all.
'
(Instrumental Conclude)

I thought this was gonna be about a run from the Mexican border to Tuscon.

I gave up on the lottery long ago. I was tired of being an instant loser.

Sir Guy, we too have a dollar-Lotto here in Calif. but I quit long ago . . .I do my "scratching" on perfumed papers, found in magazines! But I did know a co-worker who won $50 on a scratch-off card!

Funny stuff, once I worked out what the hell I-19 was! (I also thought it was a highway). Loved McKludge's end comment as well.

McKludge - I knew that this title would mislead the reader that it must be about an interstate highway. I like the instant loser comment. LOL. Whoda thunk it was about bingo on a lottery scratch card. I did hit a $2.00 bingo scratch off a few months back for $100.00. My clothes washer needed some repair so I took a load to the laundry mat and bought several bingo tickets to pass the time because it takes a while to scratch them off. I think I bought 5 of them so I netted $90.00.

Alvin - goof makes good spoof. Thanks.

IB - Glad you caught this. You have indicated that you like SD parodies or at least SD. I'm happy to oblige your fine taste in music. SD is one of my favorite groups as well. Thanks..

Lil S&S
Now there's an idea for a new scratch off gig. Maybe the Texas Lottery Commission could make a scratch off called scratch and sniff. If it smells like sh*t then you don't get sh*t. And the prizes could go upwards with the best smell being the grand prize while the better the smell the more you win. Think I'll write the TLC and pass along this idea. NOT.

Pip - Thanks - this was a lotto fun to write.
