"Dang Crazy Dog"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

My dumb dog, he'll always try
To chase cars. How is he still alive?
That old dog, he's crazy too
He barks at the TV. What can I do?

I don't know, but he's getting old
He sniffs anybodys crotch like it's made of gold
C'mon, Rover. You're a pretty good dog
Just some things you do ain't right
(chorus)

CHORUS
Dang Dang Dang
Dang Dang Dang
Dang Dang Dang, Crazy Dog

He chews old socks, and underwear
Dirty or clean. He just don't care
He'll sniff your bum with great delight
And chase his freakin' tail all night

When my friends come over, they laugh and roar
Watching him drag his butt across the floor
C'mon Rover, It's a pretty gross one
To watch you lick your butt all night
(chorus)

I still love him. He's a pretty good egg
Just keep your eyes open, or he'll hump your leg
If you get up. he'll steal your seat
And if you move him, he'll pee on your feet

Just be careful when he kisses your face
His tongue's been just about every place
C'mon Rover, I love you, dog
Ya make me laugh every night
(chorus)

I'm not sure Steve Miller would be happy to hear that, but I sure am. Thanx Alvin.

555 Mike, 555, do you plan on recording this one?
Michael E Cormier - January 16, 2007 - Report this comment
Thanks Dave. I would love to record many of my parodies, but want to wait until I can afford a home studio set up. My kids have gotta come first, and as we all know, raising them ain't cheap. But someday, yes I would. Thanx for asking.

We lost our dog on Sept 8th, and I still miss the old boy. This was written as a tribute to him. His name was Sookie, but I used the name Rover for universal appeal. Glad you liked it! Thanx Yoidy.

Agree with alvin on this...ever since Boz Scaggs left the Steve Miller Band back in the early 70's Miller stuff got really lame..."The Joker"? Gimmeabreak...Now, the stuff on the "Sailor" album (later re-titled "Livin' In The USA") was REALLY good...and "Children of the Future" was just a notch below that to me, but still excellent...and then...and then...phooey...the album "Space Cowboy" was on was alright, but very short...maybe 8 songs and none of them all that lengthy, time-wise...after that...yuck...5's for you, sir...nice work ~ ~ ~
