The Lyrics

This is my 83rd parody overall, fifth or sixth of Styx (but first such parody in a while) and second on a Lord of the Rings theme (again, the first such parody in a while). This time, I am telling the story of how the siege of Minas Tirith was repelled through the eyes of arguably my favourite non-Fellowship member--the lovely Eowyn of Rohan, daughter of Eomund. The parody, of course, focuses on the combat on the nearby Pelennor Fields. As you may know, Eowyn, having seen her uncle, Theoden (the king of Rohan), fall in battle, rode forth to the Witch King of Angmar, riding upon his dwimmerlaik; and the shield-maiden slew both, saving the city. The name of this parody is derived from the literal translation of her Rohirric name, which is "horse joy." As for the OS, it is a lesser-known but epic song written and sung by James Young on the Pieces of Eight album.
(Spoken prelude--Witch King of Angmar)
Come not between the Nazgul and his prey or he will slay thee in turn! He will bear thee away to the houses of lamentation--beyond all darkness--where thy flesh shall be devoured and thy shrivelled mind be left naked to the Lidless Eye! (Eowyn draws sword) Hinder me? Thou fool--no living man may hinder me!

(Eowyn)
When I came to battle,
I saw my uncle lying dead.
Now I must do my combat duty,
But something's gotten to my head:
If I had known that he would be slain,
I might have never gone into the fight;
But his murder I must right now avenge
And the time has come to set things right.

Nazgul King, I'm the great horse joy!
I have come; I'll both of you destroy.
Don't you know I ain't no man or boy?
Feminists love the great horse joy.

(During the first solo, Eowyn slays the dwimmerlaik)

Nazgul King, now your steed is dead.
Girl pow'r has severed off its head.
Soon I'll put you on your deathbed;
And your orcs, they'll also be dead.

(During the second solo, Eowyn slays the Witch King)

Now you've got your revenge,
My uncle and my foster dad.
Though I might just mourn your passing,
I will just succeed you instead.
If I had known I would do this well,
I would have wanted to become the queen.
I will remember your deeds
And make your glory by all seen.

Aragorn! bring your ships of black,
Let us end the orcs with your attack.
One or more bones might just be cracked;
But this day, I'll wear white, not black.

(Ad lib and fade)
I do not own the copyright for the opening passage; I thought it would be nice to set the scene since the OS also begins with spoken words.

Edward - Good job. I'd like to recommend (if you can find it) the greatest LOTR parody ever...National Lampoon's "Bored Of The Rings". In this paperback volume, EVERYTHING gets the send-up! It's quite possibly the funniest book I've ever read. ;D
