You forgot Taguchi methods, and ISO 9001, and Capability Maturity Model, and ....
I've lived through all that drek, and I'm sure in another 20 years a PhD scholar from Johns Hopkins or some such will invent another paperwork generating timewaster like the above mentioned crap.
