The Lyrics

The OS is an Allman Brothers band cover of a Muddy Waters tune which was performed live at Fillmore East and appeared on their second album "Eat a Peach." If you find the sentiments in this tune agreeable and don't know the OS, you really ought to Google it up, as it is one of the greatest rock band covers of a blues song ever stamped on vinyl
(a-do da, DO da, do do do doo)
(a-do da, DO da, do do do doo)

Don't care where you're from
How much golf you play
It's your blind arrogance, Bar
Get you canned someday
Someday, Barry
You ain't gonna be POTUS .. of me ... anymore!
Oh, you'll be POTUS no more

Now you keep on bettin'
Times keeps hiding your past
But I know and I know
Your story's collapsing fast
Few months, Barry
You ain't gonna be POTUS .. of me ... anymore!

Tell the fence sitters
In my neighborhood
That you ain't what you seem
You mean the country no good
Five months, Barry
Yo ain't gonna be POTUS .. of me ... anymore!

Gonna take a beating
From bitter folks who cling
Have more time for golfin', yeah
Fix that wussy swing
November, Barry
You ain't gonna be POTUS .. for me ... anymore!

(Cut to 40 second instrumental, segueing into ...)

Well, goodby BARRY!
Take the back of our hand
Can't abide no POTUS, no
Who don't love this land
First Tuesday, Barry
You ain't gonna be POTUS .. for me ... ANYMORE!

No, no Barry
Not POTUS no more
In the OS, the line that keeps repeating is "Someday, baby, you ain't gonna trouble .. poor me ...anymore" Google "Allman Bothers Band - Trouble No More" to get to the video

The OS begs the question, who's better than Duane Allman on slide guitar? You don't hear that song on radio much anymore unless it's "deep cuts weekend" on some classic rock station. Shame. As for your parody, here's 555 for your "trouble"!
