Parody Song Title:

"Parodies"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

I'm sorry, but I couldn't let this one go by. The timing was just right. And I had to hurry some of the rhymes in order to get it in on time so that the second to last stanza would work. Put on your hard hats, names will be dropped!
Well sometimes I stay up way too late and
Stare at my computer screen
Trying to write decent
Parodies

I’ll waste three hours at rhymezone
In the hopes that someday I will be
Future Song of the Month
Awardee

Can I be, like Yoidy
Johnny D, 2nz
Can I get my name on
The marquee?

I read today’s submissions, most do
Lack a certain quality
Not sure I can even
Give them three’s

I see poomaster’s name, another
Scatological entry
Sure it will be crap-filled
Guaranteed **

Can it be? Let me see
Oh good grief, make him cease
Stop the fecophilan
Parodies

Songs on thieves, bears grizzly
Just last week, one on weed
Have we leveled off, a
Parity?

----interlude----

The police, ho’s nappy
And Donny and Marie
No subject is safe from
Parody

And with Phil Alexander’s
And a couple more from TJC
Made the search results move
To page three

I’ll let a week go by and pray that
Comments left won’t skewer me
Will you give me fives Ag-
rimorfee?

It’s a spree, hundred-three
Of released let it be’s
Will we ever get a
Moment’s peace?

Devilry, I decree!
Can we please, let this be
The last parody of
Let It Be
** poomaster, I am not saying your parodies are of poor quality, I am saying they are about crap, and you've written a LOT of them

Pretty good. I don't think it's really cool to bash another parodist's work in a parody though. If Chucky says his topics are ok, we should just 'let it be'. Isn't 2nz pronounced 'Tunes'?

very witty and some cunning rhymes - esp the "Ag-rimorfee"...good stuff McKludge - you're obviously good at this so I went back to what I thought was a bizarre pacing slip-up, and realised you're pronouncing 2nz as 2-n-z, when it's actually pronounced "tunes" - just some more inside info for ya - 555

U Guest It - I really didn't consider what I wrote "bashing". Well, except maybe for the "make him cease" part. alvin, TJC - I though it might be too early for me - a relative newcomer to this site - to go for the inside joke, but I guess not. Thanks! Stuart - I was searching past winners for any name that rhymed with be, and I saw 2nz. I work in a job filled with acronyms, so I assumed 2nz was an acronym, not a creative spelling. 2nz - Sorry I mispronunciated :-) And finally, poomaster - sorry if you felt insulted, but it was a subject I couldn't let pass.
