Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Headline in today's New York Daily News: "FLEA BARGAIN." In the New York Post: "FROM HOKIE TO POKEY." What the hell was Vick thinking? At least O.J. Simpson waited until he was long retired and in the Hall of Fame. And didn't kill anybody in a jurisdiction with incompetent cops and prosecutors.
(instrumental opening)

Well, I find that Michael Vick's in trouble.
He's committed felony.
Heed these words of wisdom:
Let it plea.

And in his hour of darkness
it ain't dogs he's killed that feel like flea.
Heed these words of wisdom:
Let it plea.

Let it plea, let it plea, let it plea, let it plea.
Heed these words of wisdom:
Let it plea.

And when the crimes have started, people
going off to jail you'd be
unless 'tis your answer:
Let it plea.
Show judge you're sorry-hearted.
Might not see the penitentiary.
There should be this answer:
Let it plea.

Let it plea, let it plea, let it plea, let it plea.
There should be this answer:
Let it plea.

Let it plea, let it plea, let it plea, let it plea.
Heed these words of wisdom:
Let it plea.

(instrumental break)

Let it plea, let it plea, let it plea, let it plea.
Heed these words of wisdom:
Let it plea.

And when you work for Dubya
you might get saved by Presidency.
He'll commute your sentence.
Let it plea.

Of course, he might still flub ya.
There is still a chance that judge will see
if you show some penitence.
Let it plea.

Let it plea, let it plea, let it plea, let it plea.
Go and show some penitence.
Let it plea.

Let it plea, let it plea, let it plea, let it plea.
There should be this answer:
Let it plea.

Let it plea, let it plea, let it plea, let it plea.
Heed these words of wisdom:
Let it plea.

(instrumental close)

He's just a vicktim of his environment: the NFL. How many doggies did Michael Vick blow/Away when at fighting they failed/Now to the pokey must Michael Vick go/I do hope a long time he's jailed. Oh, it's so obvious. . .think I'll finish it.

Could have had a little more variation, but the concept is great. Hope they sentence him to the dog pound.for 555 years.

Good stuff, but I think I would have liked "Let him plea" better.
