The Lyrics

I won't fit my bum in here
A waste of time to try
Butt too large for this chair I fear
Whole body's jumbo sized
These shops have no clothes I can wear
"Big Hunks R Us", I order there
If I say "Boo", run in fear
I'm more than twice your size

I let my gut hang, I'm stout
Inflating waistline creep
Been gettin' fatter, I'm not thin
My sweaters take eight sheep, yeah
I'm not just big I'm very tall
They fear an earthquake, I might fall
Yeah my gut is hangin' out
Ground sinkin' 'neath my feet

I'm just too large to be seated (too large to be seated)
Saddle me up I'm a steed
I'm much too large to be seated (too large to be seated)
Throw me some oats and I'll feed

Climate altering mammoth here
Dry on my downwind side
Cold rain, the children huddle near
Hot sun, shade I provide, yeah
Tall and mass I have to spare
Find alpine flora in my hair
Nimbus clouds sometimes appear
To form as I pass by

I'm much too large to be seated (too large to be seated)
Saddle me up I'm a steed
I'm ten feet tall and I'm teated (tall and I'm teated)
Throw me some oats and I'll feed

In bars to drinks I am treated (I am treated)
If I get cross people flee
JSDF we defeated (we defeated)
Mothra, Godzilla and me
Yeah, yeah, so flee me

Too large to be seated
Too large to be seated
Yeah, I'm too large to be seated
Yeah, yeah yeah

Couldn't for the life of me remember how the original went--Hey everyone, it's that one that goes, "I don't mind you coming here, and wasting all my time..." I'm guessing that's why mine is the first vote cause this is quite good; some very clever matches with the original lyrics.

Some very funny lines in this one!

Thanks Meriadoc. Claude, Boston... OK that stuff is pretty forgetable, but what a shame if nobody remembers Cars songs anymore. They were great... catchy songs that rocked, and with a completely original sound. That first album was a classic.

This was a great parody. I believe it is related to Frosted Flakes (They're Grrrreat!!!). I am only ten years old, but instead of the casual rap and punk rock, I listen to old music! The Cars rock, just like you said, mac195!!!

Hey mac, nice job! Liked the Cars! In fact I have been thinking about doing some of their stuff, hadn't got around to really getting into it yet. Can't eat Frost Flakes anymore (my teeth, too old, need more fiber), but hey, I'm with Forrest E. on this one.

Forrest thanks, you ought to go out and rent a movie called "Almost Famous". It's about a kid who discovers his big sister's album collection, gets totally engrossed in the music, and goes on to be a teenage rock critic. Really good film, and a true story. I bet you'd like it. Paul, I'll be looking forward to some Cars parodies from you. Jan, thanks a lot.

This is excellent! I'm a huge, huge Cars fan, and you did them proud. Well, you did me proud, at least. =)
