The Lyrics

YouTube Video of "Tequila Sunrise" by The Eagles: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qrdyKZcqgXc
It's another September sunrise
Fire-ball of stunning size
See it rise

Though it's just a yellow star
Watch it as it climbs in-to the sky
A day goes by

Ev'ry time when the Sun goes down
Stars appear and moon-glow lights the ground
While Earth keeps rollin' 'round

It isn't just another star, son
It's just right so Earth is not freeze-dried,
Or solar-fried

Some dis-tant tomorrow's eve'ning
It'll go down for one last time
And no more shine

( --- instrumental --- )

Takin' sun in, crops are nourished
Solar power has no owner, son
It's everyone's

It's another September sunrise
Gratefully, with tear-filled eyes,
I face the skies
"September Sunrise" was inspired by a blog of beautiful sunrise photographs posted by matthew, one of my MySpace friends.

Sir, this is indeed the best month to view the sunRise/Sets; It's also the best time to be on the Coast of norCAL. The pumpkins are orange & ready for picking in about 2 more weeks of SeptemberSun. Sir, this is truly God's Country!

Sunrises are beautiful, I've seen it set over Clearwater beach, and rise over the St. Louis Arch, It brings peace to the mind and spirit. I echo John Barry's comment--I too hope you are back, a lot of people are slowly coming back, we all miss you.

There's nothing like fall to inspire good poetry.

Thanks Agrimorfee, alvin, JB, NorCALvotress, Below Average Dave, and 2Eagle. I've been posting parodies much less frequently than I used to ... but when the inspiration's there, I go for it! Every now and then I come by and read some of the daily postings and vote & comment on some - so I guess I've never really "left". I suppose I'm what one might call an "AmiRight Parodist Emeritus" -- who's enjoying his "retirement" to the max! Thanks again.

I tossed out 9-11 by verse 3, and the moon by verse 6, but I finally got there... :-)
