Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

(God made me Prez)

I got this mansion
It's painted White
I get to live there
Praise God and the right

I'm anti-stem cell
Speak with a drawl
Won't raise your taxes
(Will) Pray for us all

Some think I'm crazy
'cuz I've had some good times
I was hittin' the booze,
Smokin weed, snortin' lines
Christ's been good to me so far

(God made me Prez)

Rumsfeld and Condi
Keep terror alive
We'll get Osama
(And) Camel he drives

I got a limo
It's painted black
It's got four doors
Two flags fly in back

I got (s)elected
Your prayers sealed my fate
I read your letters
Red states are great

Now I got this round office
Dead Pres'dents on the wall
(Ring) It's Cindy Sheehan
Her I won't call

Lucky my reign
afterall was a coup
(Everybody sing)
I knew
(He knew)
I can't explain
but each time I came through
Christ's been good to me so far

(God made me Prez)

I went to parties
Sometimes during war
It's hard to b'lieve
I beat Kerry and Gore

It's tough to handle
Misfortune and blame
Everybody's indifferent
I got Hussein

They say I'm lazy
but it passes the time
(Everybody sing)
Dubya
(You fool)
Why keep on going
God I'll never know why
Christ's been good to me so far (Saviour),
God Bless the USA

Deft job, Bob - a good example of giving your POV humorously without going over the top. 5's ~ ~ ~

Joe Walsh with Dubya's Texas drawl. That would make for some interesting listening.

Well, in Bush's defense, he did meet with Cindy and she liked him, said he was sincere, genuine, and other good stuff. I would not meet with her either if I were Bush, why should he really, what are her real motives for meeting him â€" in your opinion? Do you think it is for good reason, a second time? ==== I did like the rhymes; ---- It's tough to handle --- Misfortune and blame --- Everybody's indifferent ---- I got Hussein -- (My favorite part)... However, you know I do not agree to your political garb and find it hard to find it funny. But I am a fair person and it was cute in some of the lines so I give you a 545, how's that?

Linda - I'm honored. Really. Thank you for the votes, although you really didn't have to. I was just hoping to make you laugh a little - I would have even accepted a "tee-hee" and I hate "tee-hee's". Personally, a think that it was a big PR blunder by the Admin for not dealing with it earlier. But I'm not the GOP strategist worrying about midterm elections and electoral votes for the next Presidential (s)election. It could be a diversion and they want to fuel what's going on. Or, it could come back to bite them in the ass. You asked. Thanks again, later bob

Good job, Robert. Yes, it is hard to believe Bush beat Kerry and Gore. Especially since he didn't beat Gore, and I'm only 90 percent sure Kerry lost fair and square. But this song is a winner. But here's my question: When did a longhaired homeless foreigner who didn't speak English, called the establishment on its multiple political and religious hypocrisies, lived with 12 men (some he pulled away from their families and jobs) and no women, kicked money-changers out of a temple, saved an "immoral" woman from the death penalty, gave away free health care and -- gasp -- gladly ate dinner with a tax collector (Zaccheus) become Bush's "favorite political philosopher"? The political philosophies of Christ and Bush diverge so much that they're on opposite sides of the planet. And I don't just mean geographically. In other words, Christ may forgive Bush, but He's the only one who can.
