Please note that we do not have an exact date known for this broadcast, but it was not after July 1, 1951. But Duc4 has proven that he knows this broadcast well, and I am sure that he will do many more parodies about this broadcast. A very fine submission for today. The person who thought of the idea behind this broadcast was a genius.
So, because I recognize this song, I can now render a judgment about this parody .. ie, that its pretty good. And theres a certain bit of ironic humor in pretending this snippet of a TV show that occurred 70 years ago is the most important thing that ever happened. But not if its done 100 times in a row!! That would be like a stand up comedian starting his routine with a halfway decent joke .. and then repeating the same damn joke 100 more times.
Writing this to clear up a possible source of confusion: This show definitely did not air before March 1951, as before that point, the show was on too late to accommodate a Boy Scout troop (10:30 P.M. on Friday nights). And there was an article that was dated June 4, 1951 that mentioned the broadcast as already having happened. So that narrows down the possible dates for this broadcast from March to May 1951, meaning June 1951 is not a possible month for this broadcast. Regardless, this parody (and others like it) certainly did its job in making this broadcast more known about by other people.

Let’s see how many more parodies get written before this topic is banned. It probably won’t even be until after New Year’s Eve...of next year.
