Parody Song Title:

"Melanoma"

Parody Written by:

Silly Willie

The Lyrics

Ooh a little crusty lump, crusty lump
Could that little lump be a melanoma?
Ooh found it there on my rump, there on my rump
Got to cut it off if it's melanoma
Layed out on the dock, no sun block, in the bright sunshine
And now I've got this pox, a black spot there on my behind
Mel mel mel el el woo!

Muh muh muh melanoma

Got to go and see the Doc, see the Doc
Got to have him look at my melanoma
'Cause I have a history, yes-siree
Not the first time I've had a melanoma
Layed out on the dock, no sun block, in the bright sunshine
And now I've got this pox, a black spot there on my behind

Mel mel mel el el woo!
Muh muh muh melanoma
Muh muh muh melanoma

Take a little piece from me, biopsy
Test results say that it's a melanoma
Get chemotherapy, some therapy
I hope that it's a cure for my melanoma
Layed out on the dock, no sun block, in the bright sunshine
And now I've got this pox, a black spot there on my behind
Mel mel mel el el woo!
Muh muh muh muh muh muh muh
Mel mel mel el el woo!
Muh muh muh melanoma
Muh muh muh melanoma
Muh muh muh melanoma
Muh muh muh melanoma

Oooo ohhh melanoma
Oooo ohhh melanoma

Awesome! Funny thing is...I think I actually have a case of this...where the sun don't shine- I was just getting ready to order some bloodroot salve (it'll cure it without all the damage of chemo!)....so this seemed like it was written for me! 555

I didn't vote, but I have to say this is in incredibly poor taste. Even though I've never met anyone who's had melanoma (as far as I know), I say SHAME ON YOU.

This is surprisingly well written. I was surprised because most parodists who are any good don't write about these sensitive issues.

I know Doug and Sharona. Doug for 35 years, long before the Knack. This made me almost fall off my chair, laughing. I hope he reads this rendition. He WILL laugh!!! My mother had melanoma, and me, just turning 60, and auburn/red haired, probably have it. But, after my quad- bypass and amputation (seriously), unless it kills me, I think it funny. More people need a sense of humor. Just look at our President. Can't you just LAUGH? If you don't, you don't have Doug's humor...
