The Lyrics

I've always detested this song. Here's my revenge.
Knights in pink undies
And matching tights
Are kind of embarrased
Effeminate Knights

Glad they're not G-strings
Or kinghtly thongs
Because the faire maidens
Would soon be long gone

I'm not looking
No I'm not looking
Ohh, nooo...

Gaze at their dresses,
They walk hand in hand,
Just what they're going though
I can't understand.

Don't have to tell me
These are very strange men,
High heels and armor
Won't work out in the end,

I'm not looking
No I'm not looking
Ohh, Nooo...

Nights in soiled undies,
Have a real need to change
Smell them, you're smitten,
And you dont think it strange.

This music's depressing,
I can't stand this song,
Just what the truth is
It has dragged on too long.

I'm not looking
No I'm not looking
Ohh, Nooo...

(Epilogue, spoken: )
Breathe deep the gathering gloom
Flatuate in every room
Bedwetting people wake up and lament
Another beer, useless. Energy's spent
Grand Ladies Of Wrestling wrestle as one
Bill Clinton cries for love and has none
That Ruben Studdard must weight a ton
Two all-beef patties, please hold the bun
Classic rock radio that rules the night
Remove this song from my sight
I don't know art, mate, but I know what I like
Who decided this song was a hit?
Were they having delusions?
Best version of KIWS was done by The Dickies, a punk rock band, from around
1979. They played it much faster, so it's over with sooner.

Worth it for the epilog. LOL!

RMason - great job! Agree with QC79 about the epilog. Although I like a lot of the 'Moody's' stuff I never was that fond of this particular number.

Do you mind if I forward that epilogue to every Moody Blues fan I know? (Credit given, of course.) I'm glad I stuck it out to the end! Brilliant!

BRILLIANT! 555 ... "Grand Ladies Of Wrestling wrestle as one" .... "That Ruben Studdard must weight a ton" .... "Two all-beef patties, please hold the bun" .... Genius! LOL, great work, MasonR !!

Hey MasonR, if you like mocking this Moody Blues' tune, then you might get a smirking chuckle out of how I laid waste to it in "Tights I'm Quite Fat In" .... here it is:

Thanks for your kind words about "Pink Undies" and sharing your spoof, Johnny D, its brilliant! More than a smirking chuckle...I laughed several pounds off! The "Grand Ladies of Wrestling" line is actually a kind of a tribute to Steve Blance, an old college acquaintance of mine. He writes the scripts for GLOW! At school he was always coming up with hilarious spoofs of popular songs (it would be great if he got onto this site & started posting). You might say he inspired me!
