That's what you do when you have a budget deficit: YOU RAISE TAXES! You'd have to be stupid to do otherwise. Especially when you've got a war (or two, or more) to pay for! You start with the rich, and if that's not enough, well... "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country." But then, Georgie Bush is no Jack Kennedy. Hell, by going into Iraq when everybody thought it was a stupid idea, he's not even a George Herbert Walker Bush!
