BP Capitol Hill Bullies


This is a story bout' a man named Fred
A poor fisherman barely kept his family fed.
He went out on the gulf and was fishing for some food
And up on his line came a bubbling crude.

Oil that is, under the sea, compliments of BP

Well the next thing you know it's the Gulf oil spill
When the news of it spread around it made the country ill
The oil execs were out spinnin' their wheels
And lobbied lawmakers right off of their heals

Bribes that is, free meals, back room deals.

Now what you know old Freds a millionaire
The BP man said move away from there.
He said get away from here as far as you can be
Cause we cut too many corners on this rig in the sea
